For a second time in ISAE this year, the Career Advisory Center together with the Office of the Registrar, has organized a Joint Department Orientation Day for first year students. The event took place yesterday September 2nd and it involved eight (8) Departments from the two faculties that are run today in ISAE.

Present were both Deans and the Vice-Rector for Academics and Research. More than 700 hundreds students curiously attended the event whose purpose was to get students acquainted with the subtle career options on their hands, the modules already prepared for them, and how they could proceed making better choices.
The Career Advisory Center (CAC) Manager took enough time to explain what student Personal Development Planning (PDP) is and offered sufficient pieces of advice on how to explore one’s majors and careers so as to achieve a better choice for future career. With a power point presentation, he talked about three steps that students can go before deciding on which department/career to join : (step 1) Focus on you, (step 2) choosing your major, (step 3) exploring careers. He emphasized the idea that “A dream without a Plan is only a wish”, thus calling students to plan ahead their career.
